On New Year’s Day
many people reflect on the past
reflect on what was
what could have been.
Of course I reflect
on moments gone by
but I also reflect
on the future
and hold it in my heart
ever wishing for serene days
ever wishing for loving family gatherings
ever wishing for moments of laughter
ever wishing for contentment
ever wishing for the awe of nature
before my eyes
ever wishing I journey
down the correct path.
I wish you all a wonderful 2013, filled with hope, health, love, joy and treasured moments.
