Foliage and Stream

What a fascinating article regarding artifacts found near Temple Mount, including a gold medallion with a menorah etched in it. More and more artifacts, artifacts from Before Common Era (BCE) have been found near there, lately.

During these Days of Awe, I find it very rewarding that Judaica is continually enriching our lives, whether by new findings or whether by prayer and practice.

Have a peaceful day. Shalom!

I had a week with distractions. My blogging was scant. I did visit other blogs, though.

I finished “The Loves of Judith“, by Meir Shalev…he never disappoints me.

Sunday Scenes – February 10, 2013.

I hope to get to the Skirball Cultural Center soon, to see the Voices and Visions Exhibit, which runs through March 17, 2013.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has an interesting sounding exhibit entitled Stanley Kubrick.

I am in the midst of reading The Conversation, by Joshua Golding. The novel is a little over 500 pages long, and I am totally engrossed and fascinated by the content of the story. I am almost finished reading it.

I have a review to edit and eventually post on the book entitled Journey to Heaven: Exploring Jewish Views of the Afterlife.

My family in NY and in MA are snowed in, due to the blizzard, but they are safe. I hope my friends living in the eastern part of the U.S., are safe. Please be cautious. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.
