Out of the forest came a creature. I stopped the car, and had to take a photo, through my rolled down car window. As soon as the lovely deer heard the camera click, he/she turned around and ran back into the forest.

My grandchildren love to watch the birds and ducks at the local lake. No matter the season, they enjoy looking at the feathered friends.

Last week there were so many birds and ducks on the ground, more than were in the water. I liked the way they were all standing together, as if waiting for some fun to begin.
