Sunday Scenes – February 10, 2013.

skirball garden

I hope to get to the Skirball Cultural Center soon, to see the Voices and Visions Exhibit, which runs through March 17, 2013.

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has an interesting sounding exhibit entitled Stanley Kubrick.

I am in the midst of reading The Conversation, by Joshua Golding. The novel is a little over 500 pages long, and I am totally engrossed and fascinated by the content of the story. I am almost finished reading it.

I have a review to edit and eventually post on the book entitled Journey to Heaven: Exploring Jewish Views of the Afterlife.

My family in NY and in MA are snowed in, due to the blizzard, but they are safe. I hope my friends living in the eastern part of the U.S., are safe. Please be cautious. My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I’m Late on Wednesday

Oh my! Has my head been in the clouds? No, not really. Time just got away from me, so I have backdated this post to reflect yesterday’s date – September 19, 2012.

I find beauty in the aging rose, the way the petals curl, turn brownish, and look lovely in their aged state.

Life in its fullest is vibrant and has so much to offer, much like the beauty in this lovely pink rose.
