I like texture blends along with shadows.  I love scenes of paths.  My photographs are being posted for the following memes:  Visit them for more photographs from around the world.

I also love shadows and textures, that’s one reason why I’m not usually a fan of HDR. These are wonderful shots, they make me want to walk along the paths.

  2. Something very calming about your second photo. We just came back from a jaunt in the park, but everything in our park is brown.

  3. I LOVE it and so want to walk that path! Awesome contrasts and textures!

I’m not sure which of these appeals to me more. I love the shadowy path, but the orchard is beautiful, too! What kind of trees are they?

  5. I like the way the path leads into the photo.

  6. The path is lovely, the dappled shadows fall over the walkway. Which is a beautiful distraction as we try to walk the path without straying…The orchard is artistic as the trees leave great details on the upside, the shadows contributing the neat shapes below our feet. Nicely capyured on a beautiful day!

  7. Wonderful shots of such a nice place.

  8. A stroll down this lovely lane surely makes the heart leap! The orchard is getting ready to start setting fruit. Really good capture for SSS. Have a good week ahead.

  9. Love the light and shadow play in that first shot!
This looks like a place I would enjoy walking.

  10. Beautiful bark textures and soils display an interesting mix of shadows! Delightful walkway!

  11. Nice shadow shots, especially I like the second.

    Regards and best wishes

  12. Is that a grove of nut trees in the second photo? Enticing!
