I had a slow week in the blogosphere.
I did manage to review Rashi’s Daughters, Book III: Rachel, by Maggie Anton.
Hannah has a delicious sounding spicy rice and kidney bean recipe.
Leora’s post “Flora of Mount Meron, Israel – Sketching Out“, has gorgeous flora photographs and breathtaking views.
Zivah, as always, has food for thought, with her post on Korach – the zero sum game.
The June Jewish Book Carnival is up at Forwordsbooks!
The Elaine Margolin with the Jewish Journal has written a compelling review of Landscapes of the Metropolis of Death, by Otto Dov Kulka.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles has some fantastic upcoming events.
This weekend I will participate in a “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk, at the lake I always frequent during the week. I am volunteering at the registration desk, and then will walk with everyone else.
Shabbat Shalom!

Hope the walk goes well. A beautiful scene you posted. Thank you for the link and Shabbat Shalom.
Thank you, Leora. Shabbat Shalom!
Wishing you Shabbat Shalom and a smooth walk! Thank you for the link to my blog.
Thank you, Hannah! Shabbat Shalom!
You may have had a slow week, but you got a beautiful photo of the ocean. It’s wonderful that you volunteer for the cancer walk. I hope it’s a great success.
Thank you, George. I try to attend as many cancer walks as possible, and participate in the walk, itself, not just volunteer.
