Empty Bench

Empty Bench

“Seated here in contemplations lost, my thought discovers vaster space beyond, supernal silence and unfathomed peace”
― Giacomo Leopardi

When sitting on an empty bench, in the midst of a forested path, overlooking a lake, river, or the ocean, I find myself contemplating the beauty and awe of not only nature, but of life, itself.
