Slate, Cypress, Bolders, Straw

Paths of slate

weathered shapes of grey

black, roughed edged

form the base for many wanderings.

Smoothness worn thin

through time and footsteps

still stand strong

warriors within

neutral tones of earth.

Between cypress,

boulders, straw

lies earth that

has felt man’s feet

upon its back,

its spine

wandering in directions

of unknown illuminations

from past, present

moving towards future

possibilities.

Shabbat Shalom to those who celebrate. For everyone who visits, I hope you have a lovely weekend.
