Textures, Layers

I enjoyed coming upon this scene, the deteriorating architecture with its many textures and layers.

One could compare the setting to be an analogy of our own life, which is also filled with many textures and layers. Each minute creates new illuminations of our physical being, our landscape through which we grow, mature, learn from lessons that might not have been successful.

But, then, what is successful to one person, is another person’s success, through failed attempts, but within those attempts we learn what path to continue on, and our textures become survival layers. I dislike using ‘failed attempts’, and rather see the attempts to be negative aspects from which positivity blooms.

We all, and I do mean ‘all’, have gone through issues that we have overcome. Do not let any negativity hold you back from moving forward, and building new layers, from the textures of life.

Shabbat Shalom to those who celebrate. Everyone, I hope you have a lovely weekend. -Lorri
